Stéphane Peterhansel is the first driver to reach the finishing line on the day’s special. Although he might have to pass over stage victory in favour of Mathieu Serradori, the Mini driver has finished with a lead of 12 minutes over Nasser Al-Attiyah, extending his advantage over his Qatari rival in the general standings to 17’50’’, striking a big blow against his adversary’s chances!
With 40 km left before the finishing line, Nasser Al-Attiyah now trails Stéphane Peterhansel by more than 12 minutes. “Mister Dakar” is hammering home his advantage over his main rival in the general standings!
