Eduard Nikolaev is still on cloud nine and has dominated a third consecutive stage. The Kamaz rider has beaten Federico Villagra by 28 minutes at the finishing line, whilst the rest of his competitors have foundered.
Demonstrating superb consistency since the start of the rally, Eduard Nikolaev is again demonstrating his skills today. The Kamaz driver has reached CP3 with a lead of almost 9 minutes over his team-mates Ayrat Mardeev and Anton Shibalov.
Nasser Al-Attiyah has completed a very complicated stage for the Toyota driver, who twice stopped for more than 20 minutes. The Qatari finished 54 minutes behind Sébastien Loeb and now trails Stéphane Peterhansel by almost an hour in the general standings.
Eduard Nikolaev continues to lead the fourth stage, but Federico Villagra is not letting him get too far away and lies 36 seconds behind the Russian. Two other Kamaz trucks make up the top 4 at CP2, driven by Ayrat Mardeev and Anton Shibalov.
