Siarhei Viazovich put on another display of consistency in this year's Dakar to claim his maiden win in Chilecito, 1'24' ahead of new race leader Federico Villagra.

Martin Kolomy started this stage much later than the first five trucks, but the Tatra driver is going strong. The Czech was second at km 147, 11'25' from Federico Villagra. Nevertheless, the Argentinian ran into trouble shortly thereafter.
